  • Siesha Reid, Founder & President

    Sieshia Reid, a native of Miami Gardens, Florida, is a resilient and compassionate leader committed to empowering others through purpose-driven work and personal healing. An alumna of Miami Carol City Senior High School, she continued her education at Miami Dade College, Broward College, and is currently pursuing a psychology degree at Georgia State University. As the founder and CEO of Girl Get Up Inc., Sieshia leads with heart, offering mentorship, workshops, and hunger relief to women and girls who have experienced trauma. Her dedication is deeply rooted in her own lived experiences, including surviving mental, physical, and emotional abuse, and the heartbreaking loss of her father just one day before giving birth to her second child. Instead of giving up, she turned her pain into purpose, becoming a beacon of strength for others. Passionate about mental health access, Sieshia plans to use her psychology degree to provide counseling services for underserved communities. A proud mother of four, she finds joy in cooking, singing, dancing, and creating memories with her children — living each day with grace, grit, and love.

  • Ashleigh Pandora Steele, Vice President

    Ashleigh Pandora Steele serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for Girl Get Up Inc., bringing a dynamic blend of strategic leadership, heart-centered advocacy, and a deep commitment to the empowerment of girls and women. With a strong background in nonprofit development, grant writing, and organizational growth, Ashleigh plays a pivotal role in guiding the vision and sustainability of the organization. Her passion for uplifting historically marginalized communities is reflected in her work as a strategist, speaker, and founder of The Opia Designs Company, where she helps businesses and nonprofits thrive.

    Ashleigh’s leadership at Girl Get Up Inc. is grounded in purpose and driven by impact. She actively supports programming, mentorship initiatives, and fundraising efforts that create safe, transformative spaces for girls of color. As a champion for equity, resilience, and mental wellness, she brings both lived experience and professional excellence to the board. Ashleigh is proud to serve in a role that allows her to pour into the next generation of girls, reminding them daily that they are powerful, worthy, and capable of rising — no matter the obstacles.

  • Kawanna Fountain, Chief Financial Officer

    Kawanna Fountain is a devoted educator, wife, mother, and proud grandmother who brings over eight years of experience in both the classroom and leadership. Serving as Grade Chair at Point South Elementary School, she is dedicated to empowering young minds and cultivating spaces where students and fellow educators can truly thrive.

    A native of Valdosta, GA, Kawanna holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Grand Canyon University, as well as an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Military College. Her professional journey is deeply rooted in service, faith, and purpose.

    Guided by Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all this through Christ who gives me strength” — Kawanna leads with grace, strength, and resilience, both personally and professionally.

    Outside the classroom, she enjoys traveling, crafting, and cherishing time with her husband, their four children, and her beloved grandson. A firm believer in the power of women supporting women, Kawanna is honored to serve as Chief Financial Officer of Girl Get Up Inc., where she champions the mission that rising together is the only way forward.

  • Gloria Ibrahim, Secretary

    Ibrahim Gloria serves as the Board Secretary for Girl Get Up Inc., bringing a unique blend of organizational excellence, heart-centered service, and a deep commitment to advancing community-focused causes. Based in Nigeria, Gloria combines her passion for volunteerism with a strong academic foundation, holding a B.Ed in Religious Studies and Education, and currently pursuing a Master’s in Adult Education and Community Services with a specialization in Social Welfare Education.

    Her role as Board Secretary goes beyond record-keeping she actively supports strategic decision-making, strengthens communication across the board, and ensures smooth operational flow for the organization. Gloria’s leadership is deeply rooted in her passion for nonprofit work, particularly initiatives that uplift underserved communities, promote education, and foster social welfare.

    With a lifelong investment in community service, Gloria brings both dedication and professionalism to every project she undertakes. She is proud to serve in a role that allows her to contribute meaningfully to an organization’s mission, helping to create lasting impact and sustainable change for the communities it serves.
